Textbook Adoption

BACKGROUND

There are several ways to select a new textbook for a course in the Barnes and Noble Adoption and Insights Portal (AIP). The recommended approach is through the ISBN or Keyword search.

ADOPTION

1. Click on the B&N icon from the gateway home screen.

2. From your Adoptions Overview page, select "I’d like to be guided through the adoption process."

3. Select the "Search by ISBN or Keyword," and enter the ISBN for your text. If the book has previously been used for your course, it will populate in a dropdown menu instantly, that you may select. If nothing populates, simply click the spyglass.

4. Click the link in this new drop-down where it says "To add this title, click here." This will open another drop-down menu, where you may enter the necessary information to add your title.

5. Click "Add Title" at the bottom of the screen.

6. Click "Submit Adoption."
